A: Lordelle is pleased to offer a 70-day full money-back guarantee — one of the strongest guarantees in the industry. Lordelle maintains a limited lifetime warranty guarantee for our cutlery and culinary tools against manufacturing defects in material and craftsmanship and to perform as advertised when properly used and maintained. This warranty is non-transferable and does not extend to normal signs of wear or damage due to improper use, improper maintenance, accidents, or loss or theft, as is the case with virtually all consumer products.
Examples of improper use, damage or conditions that may void our limited warranty include, but are not limited to, the following;
Bent/Broken Knife Tip: Knives that are dropped resulting in a damaged knife tip or knife blade (broken, bent, chipped, snapped).
Broken/Chipped/Snapped Blade: Knives that are used for purposes otherwise stated, or advised against, such as cutting bone, frozen foods, hard-shelled foods (shellfish, coconut, etc), prying, twisting or bending, and cutting on hard surfaces such as marble, glass, ceramic, or granite.
Dull Knives: Knives that are not used or maintained properly in order to retain their edge. Proper and regular use of a honing rod and periodic sharpening with a whetstone are strongly advised to maintain the edge of your knife blade to the factory standard. Knives that are neglected or improperly used, such as cutting bone, frozen foods, hard-shelled foods (shellfish, coconut, etc), prying, twisting or bending, and cutting on hard surfaces such as marble, glass, ceramic, or granite will likely render your blade unusable.
Rust/Discoloration: Knives or other culinary tools (including cookware) that are crafted of high-carbon steel that are not maintained properly and are left in standing water, soaked in water, exposed to high-acidic foods or other harsh chemicals for long periods of time, not dried immediately after washing, or stored in wet/damp locations will cause steel oxidation.
This limited lifetime warranty extends to purchases completed through our website, www.lordelle.com and Amazon, for which we consider your order ID number proof of purchase. Please retain your order confirmation receipts.

How do you properly clean these knives?
A: Cleaning your knives is key to keeping them in optimal condition for a long time. The process is quite simple. It’s best to hand-wash your knives with warm water using a mild soap and a non-abrasive sponge. Immediately after washing, thoroughly dry the blade and handle with an absorbent towel. Ensure the knife is completely dry before returning to the storage block in order to protect the blade edge and keep them sharper, for longer. Never leave your knife sitting in standing water. Knives that are left wet will be more prone to rusting.
Are Lordelle knives dishwasher safe?
A: It is not advised to put Lordelle knives in the dishwasher. Heavy jet streams, flying debris and harsh chemicals can cause damage. To preserve the life and sharpness of your knife, we advise to hand wash with a gentle soap and dry immediately after use.
Do my knives need sharpening?
A: Depending on the frequency of use, your knives may need regular honing and sharpening. We recommend an easy-to-use knife sharpener, and / or a yearly professional sharpening. We also recommend honing your knife after 5 times of repeated heavy use, or as soon as you find yourself struggling to cut through ingredients.

How do I redeem my gift card?
A: Gift cards can be redeemed in your cart. At checkout, you will be presented with an option to enter a discount code or gift card. Simply copy and paste the gift card number you received into this box and click “apply”. The total value of the gift card will be applied to your order. Any remaining balance can be paid for via our various payment methods.
